Ethyl Glycol Acetate
Ethylglycolacetate is obtained from the reaction of the ethyl ether derived from ethylene glycol monoethyl ether (ETHYL GLYCOL) with acetic acid. It is a clear liquid that is partially soluble in water and completely miscible with most organic solvents. Ethylglycolacetate is used as active solvent for synthetic resins and is used in printing ink and surface coating formulations.
